The activities of the society are governed by a set of bylaws agreed by the membership. The bylaws cover things like the purpose of the society, terms of office and elections of office bearers and board members, calling of business and board meetings, and management of membership eligibility and fees. Having been originally drafted at the society’s founding in 1986, they were reviewed and updated in 2024.
